The first Friday of February marks National Wear Red Day, a moment dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular disease. Once again this year, students and staff at Carol Stream Elementary joined together in wearing red to honor Louise, the sister of Carol Stream student Layne.

Fourth graders at Carol Stream School recently celebrated the completion of their “Amazing Creatures Live in the World” project with a Publishing Party. Students spent six weeks researching and writing about fascinating animals, developing key writing and research skills to inform and engage their readers.
